Pray

A message from CSI’s International President

Pray for the Suffering Parts of the Body of Christ

Part of our calling as Christians is to intercede for this world in prayer. We lift up those who suffer to the Almighty and ask for His help.

The Bible tells us that these victims of religious persecution are brothers and sisters in Christ. They are parts of the worldwide Body of Christ to which we belong. “When one part suffers” the Apostle Paul tells us, “all parts suffer with it”. (I Cor. 12:26)

You can make a difference – by encouraging prayer for the world’s persecuted Christians in your weekly worship services and prayer meetings.

CSI can help. Every month we publish the names and details of Christians who suffer for their faith. These cases are intended to be used in prayers of intercession. They can help direct our hearts and minds to specific individuals and many others that suffer similarly for their faith.

We will also share the good news of the liberation of Christian prisoners, slaves, bonded labor, and victims of human trafficking, so that you can life up prayers of praise and thanksgiving as well as intercession.

Wishing you the Almighty's blessing!

Prayer topics for March

Sunday 1 March 2026: PAKISTAN

Zahid Masih, 36, a Christian father of two, suffered severe burns to his head and neck after a Muslim neighbor threw petrol in his face and set his clothes on fire on January 21. The attacker is believed to have acted out of religious hatred. The assault has left Zahid unable to work and provide for his family.

We pray for healing for Zahid, and for protection on the Christian minority in Pakistan.

Sunday 8 March 2026: NIGERIA

Rev. Bobbo Paschal was kidnapped by an Islamist militia group during an attack on the village of Kushe Gugdu on November 17. One man was killed. After two months, Father Bobbo was released on January 17. While giving thanks for their pastor’s release, the Christian community of Kushe Gugdu remains traumatized, and requests prayer.

We pray for Father Bobbo and his congregation, and for all victims of terrorist attacks in Nigeria

Sunday 15 March 2026: IRAN

Aida Najaflou, a Christian convert sentenced to 17 years for her religious activities, is set to return to prison after temporary release on medical grounds. Aida fractured her spine on October 31 after falling out of her prison bunk bed. The 44-year-old suffers from rheumatoid arthritis.

We pray for strength for Aida as she returns to prison, and for all Iranian Christians jailed in Iran.

Sunday 22 March 2026: INDIA

Pastor Bipin Bihari Naik leads a small house church in Odisha state. On January 4, a Hindu mob broke into the house during a service and began assaulting worshipers. They accused Pastor Bipin of forcibly converting people to Christianity. After dragging him out of the house, they paraded him through the village and beat him with sticks.

We pray for protection on Bipin and his church and for all Christians suffering persecution in India.

Sunday 29 March 2026: ARMENIA

Vicken Euljekjian and three other Armenian Christians were freed from prison in Azerbaijan on January 14 in a partial prisoner exchange. The men were among 24 captured during Azerbaijan’s military takeover of Nagorno Karabakh. Vicken, who had been held for over five years, suffered beatings and abuse in prison.

We thank God for the release of Vicken, Gevorg, David and Vagif, and pray for those Armenian Christians still in Azerbaijani detention.
